Movie Night Canceled

Due to the lack of response the "movie night" event scheduled for Saturday October 22 has been cancelled.  It is our intent to reschedule the event in the spring time and please look for details in the future.

12th Annual Drive to Huber's Winery

When:  Saturday, October 8th

NEW MEETING PLACE: The Park across the street from BlueGrass Porsche Dealership

Departing Time:  10:30am  (or you can meet us at Huber's around 1:30pm)

It's that time of year again. With the crispness in the air, the leaves starting to turn, and the sound of Porsches drive thru the back roads of Southern Indiana. Yes that's right we heading to Huber's Winery to meet up with the CIR group for an afternoon of fun. We'll also extend the invitation to the SIR and the Bluegrass Region to join us. That way, we'll at least have 80 plus Porsches on the Winery's Lawn. We're leaving a little earlier so we can add some more scenic roads. Also since the bridge is out we'll be driving thru parts of downtown Louisville and New Albany to get to Huber's. Yes Maps will be available. Hope everyone can make it and keep our fingers crossed that the weather will be great.

Any question you can contact Steve @ 558-0306

Biltmore Estates Over-Night Drive

As mentioned during the monthly meeting, I'm putting together an over-night trip to visit the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC. It will be a Saturday to Sunday drive. The thinking is that late September or the early part of October would be the best time to go. Since the PaceSetter is only published once a month, you should check the website for updated information. Better yet, if you are registered to receive the email updates from our website, www.KyPCA.org, then you will receive them right away. I will post the updates under "Let's Go Driving" in the Forum section. Since there has already been definite interest in going, it's just a matter of ex- actly when. We will stay off-site at a lower rate hotel, but you can certainly stay at the Biltmore if you would prefer. We will have a tour of the house and the winery with a tasting. Interesting fact, it is the most visited winery in the US. We'll take pictures with all the Porsches parked right in front. It was also mentioned that we should drive through part of the "Tail of the Dragon" on Sunday. Their website is: http://www.Biltmore.com.

Please feel free to call me.

Another Reason to Use the Website Forums

As we're all feeling "Spring Fever" by now, it's still too early to plan any Official Club Drives. Therefore, register yourself on our website, KyPCA.org, and subscribe to our Forums. This will enable you to receive any announcements that are made between our monthly publishing of the PaceSetter. As some good driving days will become more frequent, some of us will post spur-of-the-moment drives or other meetings as an opportunity to get out and do something with other members. We have a very nice website available to all of us and so let's all utilize it to the fullest. Register yourself on our website and stay informed.
